Derrick Thompson joins the faculty of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Beginning Fall 2024, Derrick Thompson will join the Music Department at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania as Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies.

Dr. Derrick L. Thompson joins his friends and colleagues Dr. Alex Fung, Dr. Meagan Dissinger, Dr. Michael Mohammed, and Dr. Michael Fleischman as co-founders of the micro-journal The Research Riff. This journal provides summaries of peer-reviewed research in the form of a newsletter and podcast.
